I have only used the A-51s and the sc1, but I was happy with both, considering the low price. The A-51s is probably the best low budget condensor mic I've ever used, and I think it'd still find uses in more well-equipped studios as a mic for toms, guitar amps, backup vocals, and the occasional lead vocal. The sc1 is fine for what it is - a small condensor that I use to pick up cymbals and sometimes as a second mic on an acoustic guitar.
