Is it only vocals, do you have a treated room ? It will help us give you more accurate info.. I don't own one, but the 2035 is said to be a good mic but it's still on the very affordable ones. Depending on what you want to do a RODE NT1-A or a Lauten LA-220 could be better investments in the long run.. If you have an untreated room, a blunt sm57 or sm58 could be a better choice. (unless the source is very very low volume or far...) The 3035 is only available used since its been discontinued. Its a great mic. Like marco said, it depends on your room and what your recording. The shure sm57 couldnt be reccomended more highly in general. Ive been impressed by the lauten 220 in the youtube vids ive seen. Its a mic id strongly consider buying myself.
