I've acquired a RCA 44 Jr. for my little home studio 8)
now what do I plug this baby into to best compliment.
I sort of want to be versatile, but it's a nitch type of item,
so I'd prefer to matched to the era and style
this mic was made in 1940
...what where they plugging it into then?
I planning to work on something super organic
vox, backed by upright, brushes on snare, acoustic, flute and sax.
what is going to allow me to REALLY soften the overall,
think intimate, relaxed acoustic folk like before
Jewel inserted a bunch of synth drum hip hop beats.
Early Tori, Jeff Buckley's softer side
Nick Drake, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell.
