I have a small home studio, MAC running Pro-Tools LE and I'm looking for a good vocal microphone for under $300.00. I currently have a Shure SM57,
two Samson C02's and a MXL diaphragm condenser mic. Most of the recordings are in the classic rock to acoustic stuff. Any suggestions on a good vocal mic?
Thanks!

Yup, the SM57 with a foam pop filter. That's a better vocal mic
Yup, the SM57 with a foam pop filter. That's a better vocal microphone than anything else you have. Really. I'll take that over any of the other microphones you have listed, any day. Plug it into a good API preamp and amaze all of your friends. So, drop $500 and buy yourself a API 312/512/3124, they're all the same, no differences just great. Makes cheap microphones taste like lobster! Mmmmmmmmm, lobster, melted butter. My kind of rock-and-roll.
Hey! Who's going to the AES?? I'll see you there Friday through Sunday!

Don't forget the steamed clams steamed in salt water with seawee
Don't forget the steamed clams steamed in salt water with seaweed. It goes really well with fusion jazz. Of course, I'm not sure I never heard any clams in fusion jazz? It's hard to tell.
Can you dig it? Yes I can. At low tide.
