read this does it make sence,
So, we modeled it after the finest condenser mic ever made. With some changes. Like a fine mesh anti-pop grille. And even a transformer. For wide range, low self-noise and hi-input. Heavy, huh.
Uhhhh.......
and this......
Think about it.

When you‘re making a product for someone else, you sometimes see how to make it better. Sometimes they listen. And sometimes they don‘t.

After all, it is their product. And they get to make that decision. Sometimes it is because of cost. Or margins. Sometimes it is because they like their idea better. Perfectly understandable.

But it left us with a whole bunch of terrific ideas.

So we added them to our line of premium microphones. All of which have handmade capsules. And handmade diaphragms. Because that is a thousand year old idea we pride ourselves on.

Some of there mics look really similar to the SP mics which both are manufactured in china, makes ya think with that statement on there homepage. Well regardless I would like to hear them though, there website seems like alot of hype, but you won't know untill you try them.

I've used a couple of their microphones, one of the cardiod tube models and the big one that looks like a FET 47...they sounded fine to me. There are so many options to choose from in that price range, and while some of them definitely don't sound good, I'd number these among those that do. I saw their twin-tube microphone at AES as well, it looked impressive enough...couldn't really tell much about it listening with headphones, however.

As for what they say on their website...I had no idea that handmade diaphragms and capsules were a "thousand year old" idea...
