I'm running a Pro Tools system with two external hard drives (we'll call them A and B)and the enternal (C). When I do sessions in one of the externals or the enternal (A or C), everything goes as it should, the session and audio files are stored in the file that gets created when you make the session. But when I create a session on the third hard drive(B) the audio is allocated to the other hard drive(A). I haven't changed any of the allocation preferences and as I understand it as default it should just put the audio on the drive in which you made the session. Also odd is that if I import audio into a session is saves that audio where it belongs, just not audio that I record in the session..
any ideas?

For allocation, open "working space" window, and check out the
permissions set there for your drives. All disks you'd like to record
on should be set to "Record".
