Favorite gear: for hip hop/electronic production

This is an honest post intended to give people a searchable resource. Most searches on this topic bring up non-gear related arguments on whether or not hip hop is music, or cynical posts that tell people "it doesn't matter what gear you use for hip hop". So this is a post for those who want to talk about gear used successfully in hip hop / electronic music production.

Personally, Avalon u5's have to be my MVP's on everything DI. The Triton has also been a staple in my studio. And of course, '75 Rhodes piano.
