If nobody gets on here in the next few hours to give a list of the usual suspects I'll do it when I get home, but honestly what I've found so far isn't worth much. Try waves arts 30 day trial, full plugs with no clicks or pops so you can actually use them and try them for 30 days.
Although they are immense CPU hogs and the interfaces aren't the prettiest in the world the Cycling '74 Pluggo pack is a pretty good deal at about US$169.00. It's a good place to start until you have the budget for some more elegant plug-ins, and you get about 100 plugs and soft synths. I usually use them as a plug-in until I am happy with the results, save the parameters, Audio Suite the sound byte and then disengage the plug-in.
