I am recording an a cappella album in my studio and I am curious about some settings for input monitoring in Logic 8.

I work by myself in my studio so I don't have anyone to tweak input settings while I soundcheck. When I go in the iso-booth, I would like to be able to sing/beatbox/play and then come out and see where my levels are peaking within logic. Is there an "infinite hold" setting for the meters so that when the meter peaks, it holds it there indefinitely so that I can come check them when I leave the booth?
