Looking for simple super-titling software

I'm gearing up for a music-festival type of thing at my church in a couple of weeks. We like to use a projector to show the song lyrics while the bands are performing. In the past, we've used Microsoft Powerpoint to make the lyrics look pretty. But that takes a lot of work ahead of time to paste the lyrics in and format every individual page.

So, I just had a thought. There must be software out there that behaves more-or-less like the super-titling you see at the opera. I'd like to be able to choose a foreground color, background color, and font, and then just feed it 1 or more plain-text files that contain the song lyrics, and it just does a vertical scroll with a press of a key on the keyboard to advance a line or page at a time.

Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing?

There numerous tele-prompter apps for iPad, Mac, PC - a quick Google search will find one that fits your OS at a reasonable price (or shareware) price.

Most will import from Word, Notepad, Text Edit, or any other common plain text or RFT format.

I was looking at installing [[url=http://[/URL]="http://presentation…"]this one[/]="http://presentation…"]this one[/] on my laptop for just that sort of thing.
