I'm looking into the M-Audio Transit card for my laptop.
I've learned that it comes bundled with Ableton Live.
My question is...
1.) Your thoughts on the whole M-Audio Transit card? Crap or not Crap?
2.) Do you think I can also install the Ableton Live software on another PC?
I'd really like to mix down on my desktop intead of the laptop.
Thanks in advance

be careful, you will obtain Ableton Live LITE that has lot of limitations: you can create only 4 audio tracks + 4 MIDI tracks, and you are also limited to a number of 4 scenes; to this, add that you can only use ONE vst per project and one instrument (simpler or other) per project.
You can do anyway a lot of things also with those limitations, but at least now you know how things are...
BTW, if you buy a true sequencer software, then you can overcome those limitations using ReWire technology...
like me 8-)
