just tried it yesterday... a powerbook 1.5 GHz as host. and two Mac Mini's as nodes.

more than 3 TIMES THE POWER! (of my powerbook)

it only works on logic's own plug's. but they have a fine collection going on...

this will of course not compare to using G5's as nodes. but very nice for a portable setup...
