Im lookin forward to get new monitors, budget=$1000, no more than that.

my best options are

Dynaudio BM5A
KRK V8's
Event Studio Precision 6

Its hard for me to choose between these. Please give me some advice if anyone has experienced any of these.

What type/style of music are you mixing? Tracking? The Dynaudios are probably the "best built" of those, but their bass for material like hip-hop is lacking. The Events are in the same boat, bass-wise, and some people on this site have complained about "listener's fatigue" with them. The KRKs will pump the most low-end. Ultimately, you will have to learn ANY monitor's response quirks to get your mixes to translate well fromsytem to system. If you are not mixing bass-heavy material, I think that the Dynaudios have the superior detail and imaging over the others. BTW, why did you leave out Mackie and Blue Sky systems?

my sujestion is what it always is, yamaha msp5s dont go for the 10s the msp5s are fantastic. ive used gens and tanoys though i dont know the model nuber. ive still never heard anything that i have preferd to the msp5. they are verry accurate, and if you cant hear the bass that they can produce then you wont be able to on most consumer boxes either.
