Alright. This blows my mind that I haven't been able to figure this out yet. Scenario:
Your in Pro Tools 7. you have a multitrack 1 bar drum part that you want to have play say for 10 more bars. you are in grid mode and have cut the 1 bar drum part exactly to one bar. now you would think you can do a "command D" and it would just start placing each bar perfectly after the next but no! It starts to get off beat by a little and off the grid WTF! I know i can do a right click and loop it but i just want a fast way to "loop" a little section without copy and paste or option drag. (i am on mac) AM I OUT OF MY MIND? this should be simple!

It could be that the loop does not exactly match the set tempo,
It could be that the loop does not exactly match the set tempo, or that the section duplicated is either too long or too short.
nope look above. its a perfect bar.

Check to see what your Snap settings are at. Does the loop time signature match your current time signature? I know. Stupid questions but I have to assume the simplest things just to rule them out.
