Well...Mark is kind of a pain in the ass with this 'perfectionist' kick of his...so...it ain't done yet. He has been working his balls off trying to get it finished, it was supposed to be ready for release by AES [key word in that sentence: supposed].

I spoke to Mark earlier in the week, he says it's coming along, but it's not there yet. Hopefully it will be there soon [like you haven't been hearing the same song since like last March...].

I've been dealing with 'boutique manufacturers' for a while now. They're all remarkably picky about what they put their name on. So, what I've learned is that whenever a 'boutique manufacturer' gives you a projected release date, if you add 12 to 18 months to that number, you're probably OK.

With Dave Hill and the 'Crane Song LTD. "Spider"', that wait was over 2 years from what was originally projected. The first few have finally shipped, I tried it on a gig...it was worth the two [exceptionally frustrating] years. This may indeed be the final nail in the analog coffin.

The point I'm making is: don't be in a hurry for this stuff. It'll come out when it comes out. When Mark is happy with the way it sounds, works, durability, etc. It will be released.

This is what makes the stuff worth the wait. If Mark wasn't this detail oriented, you'd just be looking at another cheap piece of shit .

Go have a few beers, and wait a few months...when it is finally released, you're going to be glad you had the patience to wait it out.
