Well, I'm still working on a good setup to start mixing with monitor-wise. I know that some of you are probably sick of hearing me ask monitor questions. I know I need to choose something and just learn how to mix on it. But I do want to make sure I start on the best foot I can start on. Right now low-end is a problem - I just can't hear it well enough to make good decisions. My room is treated pretty well with panels based on Ethen Winer's designs...

I've gone between getting headphones to check the bass with to getting some big cheap hi-fi speakers to getting a sub-woofer. Based on feedback so far, I think the headphones and sub are out.

Lately I've been wondering about just getting a slightly larger set of monitors and the Wharfedale 8.2 Pro active monitors look really nice based on reviews of a lot of people.

Would anyone recommend selling my Yamaha msp5's (5" woofer) and getting the Wharfedales instead? Would it be better to have both? Or are the Wharfedales not going to be worth the switch/addition?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
