I've read that adobe audition was not yet compatible with Digidesign hardware is it really true?...that it needed a special patch or something.
I've currently installed the ASIO driver and believe that my system is still not using this driver for mbox to playback/rocord in non-Pro Tools applications. If I go to the control panel "sounds and audio devices", I could only change the voice playback and audio playback devices to mbox, which enabled it to be active only in the Windows Media Player, and that's all. How do I actually choose that ASIO driver and where for the system to use?
Would anyone know what patch/driver I should download and install in order to start recording and playing back through mbox in the adobe audition? ('ve got XP professional and dell 4700)
