I have a line on some m1 active monitors, the one works fine, the other only flashes the led light when turned on and then nothing. I'm fairly handy with basic maintainance and repairs, don't mind a little bit of solderetc. anyone have any idea what could be the first thing to look at with this. if it's a total write off i'd rather stay away, but it doesn't seem like that. thanks, glen

it's not mentioned in the regular manual, maybe a service manual , but I don't have access to one. I was thinking the same thing about the service code, but I hate to fork out the bucks if it's something i can do myself

i had one do that and never found out what the hell it was.
but then i had my father fix it.... he knows his way around a circuit board. i know alesis said they don't sell "just" the power supply, so he got it from somewhere else... i'll ask him first chance i get and see if you cant get one too..
its only like $60 if i remember (don't quote me) and super easy to install
i'll repost when i know for sure
