Alesis Studio Monitors Opinions

I can comment here. I own the passive MKIIs. I like them.
My room is small and has bass issues.
With that in mind...
They're accurate. No hyped high end. I find the low-mids to be muddy, but that is likely my room.
I balance this w/ my mAudio Bx5a's.

I have a pair of Alesis Monitor One's, I have been very pleased with them. They get as loud as I want them to and can handle low bass and midrange very well.

From a recording musician's standpoint I always get positive comments about how great they are as a larger format monitor. Nobody that I have worked with has said anything negative about them.

Monitor One's were my first Studio monitors in the 90's, they weren't bad for the price, lacked bottom end to me.

I have been using Mackie HR824's for the last few years as my main monitors and like them.

I've been using the active M1's (6.75 in.) for about 5 years. They seem to treat me ok.
