Analog vs. digital (control surface) survey

Hi, I'm a university student trying to gather some data on analog vs digital mixing desks/control surfaces in a studio environment.

If you have highend preamps with good converters then a controle

If you have highend preamps with good converters then a controler is all you need, it will surpass any mixer with ok preamps.
No need for a survey to discuss this ;)
