I have a feeling you may have mis-typed that. Assuming you're referring to these [[url=http://[/URL]="http://www.jblpro.c…"]LSR305[/]="http://www.jblpro.c…"]LSR305[/]. They are NOT intended for stage monitors and NOT going to work very well for live music.

The first two reasons that come to mind are:

A) Not nearly enough power to cover a stage.

2) They have no grill to protect the drivers, so in addition to being under-gunned - the 5-inch woofer probably wouldn't last long without a metal grill of some kind.

If you're playing quietly enough that these would get the job done - you probably don't need monitors in the first place.

These are designed for NF studio use. I couldn't find a freq response chart on them but they'll certainly be better than using headphones for mixing - as long as your room isn't so sonically skewed that no monitor could be true - you'll want to keep your use to studio with these.

Sit as close to them as you can to insure that you are hearing as much direct sound from the speakers as possible, as opposed to room reflection.... but that being said: look at improving your room acoustics as well if need be, because this facet is a crucial factor. Even the best made NF's won't do you much good in a bad sounding mixing environment.

For live application, look into a powered monitor. Without breaking the bank, perhaps something like this:

My google search just brought up 305s as eon 15 in powered speakers. And I searched "slr 305s". If that's what u have those are for live sound.

If that's the case, the EON305 is a passive 15" 2-way cabinet. The 315 is the powered version.
