Can you guess what was used here?

Hello,

I just sat down at my drumset the other day and layed down this track:

I thought it sounded pretty good (the recording, not my lousy playing) and I was impressed so I thought I'd share it and see if you could guess the mic setup and the effects used.



Be careful, it's not what you think...or is it?

2 OH, 2 SM57s on snare, 1 SD on Hihat with expansion, 1 on kick drum



This is the correct answer. But I want to emphasize that the trick was, I didn't use any effects, except for the expansion on the hihat. No compression, nothing. A good recording starts with, well, a good recording. :D



I'm glad some people thought they were two very superbly placed OHs.
