You'll want to get at the session or individual tracks. Unless it's a part you want to completely take out you're pretty much stuck with what you get.

theres one part that has 2 parts playing at the same time that shouldnt be and i want to take the one that shouldnt be playing out.

you'd need to get at the session or the tracks, so get to the guy you recorded with and get it how you like it because you can't mix within a stereo (2track) mixdown
