i have a casio ctk-691 and an Alesis mmt-8, my problem is that when i connect ctk-691 to mmt-8 it seems as if i can only sequence drum sounds, but not othr tons, (piano, bass, organ) what am i doing wrong?
My guess is that you are only sending info on midi channel 10. That channel is generally reserved for drums. Check which midi channel you are using on the MMT-8 and make sure that the piano/organ sounds are set up to use that midi channel.
