The Focusrite isn't in the same league as the Grace. How many preamps do you need in the unit? 1, 2, 4, 8? My usual recommendation for "colorless" preamps starts with True Systems. Focusrite Red series is good but the ISA is not very impressive IMO.

It has a slightly lumpy mechanical format, but more than makes up for it in performance. Very good value in the UK, and you can order directly from worldwide.
