i posted this in the Cubase section but i dont think anyone visits that, so here i go.
when i try to import mp3 files into a new song in Cubase some files it decodes to wave and some dont. when i click on the files it doesnt even give me a dialog box to say it didnt work or anything like that.
is this a problem with windows or with Cubase or with the files itself. i've tried comparing the files to each other and nothing is different. the ones it doesnt decode work fine as mp3 files.
ive posted this question at cubase.net and its sat there for a week with no replies, so if anyone has any input that would be great thanks.
oh yeah i'm running windows 2000.
thanks

Umm..sounds to me like a Cubase problem..than again I think most
Umm..sounds to me like a Cubase problem..than again I think most people use Wavelab or other editors to convert them to wav before importing them into their Audio software....
I highly doubt it's an OS issue..more people would have said something at that point!
