Has any one here attempted to use a Digidesign USD (with the USD Setup Software) and Digital Performer? I'm trying to find out if I can control Sony 9-pin video decks from directly within DP. I don't excpect MOTU to have integrated direct support, but the USD has a standalone application similar to Clockworks and I'm curious to see if anyone has used it in this way. I know that the Digital Timepiece will work, but I've heard from reliable sources that lockup times are abnormally long using it. Plus I already have a USD.
