I'm looking into purchasing a Phonic Helix Board 24 sometime in the near future. From the research I've done, this seems like an acceptable choice considering I'm using outboard pre's and the price is so tempting. My only problem is that I can't find anything to tell me whether it is compatible with Pro Tools LE. Does anybody know if the Helix Board will work in Pro Tools LE 6.8?

No, not directly. ProTools only works with DigiDesign hardware (or M-Audio for the M-Powered versions).

I don't know that Phonic board, but my guess would be that the line inputs are attenuated and then fed through the same preamps as the mic inputs. It would be worth checking this before wondering why your shiny new boutique preamps sound just like a Phonic Helix.
