Right now, I can use Pro Tools on my computer (which is super sloooow) after I take it off the internet and disable the antivirus. I can't do much with it, as Pro Tools lags a bit at times, and other various annoyances. I'm not too worried because I am just getting vocals recorded, which doesn't take too much. I'm having someone else mix my music, so having a beat tracked out isn't going to slow my computer down, as I won't need that one when I'm just laying a few vocal tracks down per song.

So here is just a computer that I found:

I know that it says it's a gaming computer, but I noticed it was Quad core, 4 GB of RAM, 1TB hard drive. Figured everything like that should get the job done.

It would be perfect because I could use my current computer as just a simple homework/internet box, and use a new one only for my music, in which I can actually try my hand at mixing and the such.

Anywho, if there are things that I'm missing other than the processor and amount of RAM being important, let me know. I'm guessing that a computer like that above should be able to run Pro Tools and mix with it just fine, but I could be way off. Let me know! Thanks
