Just thought I'd share my thoughts. I got to try out my new C42's as drum overheads and on acoustic this weekend. I think they are fantastic. I used some Neumann KM184's a while back (or were they 183's. ?), and going from memory I think the Josephson's compare quite favorably. I still might prefer the Neumann's for some things, but I really liked the C42's for what I was doing. And the matched pair comes in a spiffy case with automatic pressure control, I guess for taking it on a plane or something; or maybe it's for deep sea diving.
My rating: 8-) 8-)

Not surprising to me Reggie. I have used my matched set on overheads for almost every project i have done this year. At half the price of Neumanns, you are a step ahead of the pack.
