Been using one for a little over a month now. Run bass, acoustic guitar, dynamic and condenser mics through it. Overall impression is that it's a very handy piece of kit.
Gave a Tobias bass a fairly big, round tone. Still prefer the GR MP-2NV for this, but the Brick held its own quite well. Gave some nice depth to a low end acoustic/electric steel string. I ran a Brauner Phantom C through it for grins and it did quite nicely actually on male tenor vocals. I typically use the Brick when I run out of outboard pre's and don't want to use the pre's on my board. So far, I think it's better suited as an instrument DI, but it holds its own pretty well as a mic pre as well.
