Hi everyone

i'v been saving some $ for pre and I was thinking of the Great River MP2 MH. i was going to buy it, but now i saw a Focusrite ISA 215 for 2000$.
my questions is:
is it a good deal ?
there's the advantage of the eq, but is it a good preamp ? i'v done my search at the forum and there is nothing on it

i never heard the Focusrite and i loved the mp2

thank you

Hew Newbie, Hold your pants on.

People answer questions as they feel like and as the subject interests them. If you want real time service and answers, expect to pay a decent fee for that kind of service.

The Foucsrite ISA 215 is an older obsolete unit that is a very good preamp and has a very good eq. Very much worth having and using. if the unit is in real good condition, $2K would seem to be a real fair price. I'd much prefer it over the GR MP2.
