Im not sure if this belongs to another section.
I want to achieve this specific effect on vocals. I think its a vocoder of some kind but it would really help to know which effect is it (brand and name) or how to reproduce it using Reason5 or any other VI that lets you program vocal processing effects.
Here's two examples from two different genres:

1. Chris Brown: [="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sMKX22BHeE"]Forever[/]="http://www.youtube…"]Forever[/]. Promminently used on the main vocal
2. Avenged Sevenfold: [[url=http://="http://www.youtube…"]Lost[/]="http://www.youtube…"]Lost[/]. Slightly used on the main vocals at 1:30 (the chorus)
