I have DAW Studio One 2 and cubase. I Have three diffrent audio Interfaces but have the ZOOM R8 set with studio One. I Have POD HD500 ANd the POD HD that also can be used as (AI's). I would like input on the best way to get a great recording using these tools. I use an XLR from my floor board to AI. IT is used for all guitars and Bass. I also Have a PreSonus (AI) AUdiobax USB. MY Q's are

1. is there a site for free with great information on setting levels mixing the whole nine yards for beginners like me to get a great base and make great music.
2. What is the best way to hook up my Equitment to get full the best sound in recording (not live). See My equitment if going to answr.
3. I only have an open back set of head phones which i use to mix my test run. What Brands Are good that are under 200.00 for open back and closed back for vocals and mixing.
4. I Play heavey metal and hard rock and would like input on the best way to set up volumes for my inputs.

Thanks Guys any information would be a big help.

Shoot me an email if you are still wondering, and I can help you out. Sounds like you are trying to use what you have to do too much. Maybe selling off some un needed gear and finding some perfect gear will help you. Anyhoo, good luck and God bless! Keep on rocking!
