i did a google and came across some interesting stuff about the board, but no yay or nay on my question. i don't own the board so i have little time for experimentation, and as far as i've seen so far on the ipad control program, you can't adjust effects parameters.

my example would be, trying to adjust the pre delay on a reverb. other examples would be selecting different verbs, or adjusting echoes time/feedback.

the only workaround i can think of would be somehow acessing some efx presets on the fly, but still if there was a better way it'd be cool. as i'm slowly getting the basics down, i'm starting to miss my old efx knobs, when mix problems have been solved and it's time to have some fun.

i think a lot of these types of questions are gonna come up and be addressed as tablet mixing evolves, and the end users and manufacturers are gonna benefit from it!

thanks again.

That's a Yay. They've got the basics covered very well.

You go to the "Aux Mixer" tab at the bottom of the iPad screen.
Scroll the top section to the far right to the FX bus you want to tweak.
You can choose Pre or Post, Mute, or Edit on FX-A or FX-B.
Tap the "Edit" button and you get a pulldown of effects choices, followed by the appropriate parameters for that given effect.

Ambience / Small Rm / Bright Rm / Small Hall / Bright Hall / Warm Hall / Gated Hall / Large Hall / Plate / Mono Delay / Filter Delay / Stereo Delay / Pingpong Delay

The Reverbs have Decay / Pre-Delay and some have Early Reflections
The Delays have Tempo Tap and all the usual Time, Feedback, etc.

Then don't forget you'll need to do the FX sends on the lower half of the Aux Mixer screen.

My mixer is in a case somewhere, but you can access the app specific to all three SL models anytime in offline-demo-mode with just the iPad.

Sorry, no specific parameters or presets I use in every situation. I'm usually content with a basic hall or plate reverb and mono delay - the exact settings of which will change song to song, room to room.
