You might try asking Mr. Gerst about this one in his "bottom-feeders" section. My understanding is this is one of the many imported chinese-capsuled mics flooding the market these days. Not that that makes it a bad mic necessarily, but just so you are clear about its lineage.

right. i'm very clear of its discouraging lineage. this one seems to stick out more than the others somehow
(in reviews). so i'm just curious what other people may have discovered, or whether its just hype.

Again, I myself havnt tried this mic, and Irrespective of lineage I have only heard bad things about it.There are some reviewers you get to trust as they repeatedly have the same conclusions as you come to your self, and for me prorec have realistic reviews, and they (among others )have reviewed the joe meek,
