Unless you've been living under a rock for the past year, it is quite apparent that 64 bit is about to take over and 32 bit is going to be left in the dust very soon. It may very well be that support for 32 bit software will come to an end in the next two years or so. That being said, there's something to look for.
If you're not one of those people who has to be on the bleeding edge of technology, there are deals to be had. I bought IK Multimedia's TRacks 3 over the weekend for $30(This deal is still ongoing but for how long I do not know). The boxed version retails for around $199(Probably $150 Street). Sure it's old but hey, this was cutting edge not that long ago. A few months before, I bought Classic Studio Reverb for $50.
Waves is blowing out their older plugins like there's no tomorrow. It's a great time to spend a very little bit of cash to get some really great software. Keep your eyes peeled. The deals are forthcoming.
