I am about to buy a Lynx Aurora 8 or 16 and wanted any feedback from OSX users about the Lynx AES card, I am torn between running the Aurora into my MOTU 828mkII & 002 via ADAT at 44.1khz (which would be locked to the Aurora) or really splashing out and going for the AES Card aswell. I have no idea about the stabilty or user inteface of the Lynx AES card on OSX so my 1st question is what is the card like on OSX? Secondly does anyone have any other suggestions about AES cards so I can track in Cubase at 92k, as ADAT limits are 44.1 I'm looking for a 92k alternative. As it seems like it would be a waste to buy one of these units and simply ADAT it up at 44.1k. Many thanks in advance to all who shares their time.
