Hi guys,

I did do a search, to avoid wasting everyone's time, but it came up empty.

I have a set of Wharfedale diamond 8.2's pro actives. They do the trick for me. but they do fall off a fair bit below 80Hz. I'm considering adding a sub. (I wouldn't use it all the time, but rather check my mixes both with, and without it, to avoid ugly surprises once the mix is played in a home/car system that has one.)

Any recommendations for a sub that might work fairly well, at reasonable cost? The latter being paramount. Say, under $400?

(Yes, I understand that it is opening up a whole can of worms, and that there are potential problems with the room, and such, but that's for another day)
