I'm upgrading my pc and I want to get rid of my video card. It's a radeon 9500 which works ok for dual monitors, but I don't really like its fan.

I was looking at the Matrox 550 but I saw that Scott and Guy use FX5200 for their machines (standard). FX5200 cards are about half the $$ of a Matrox, so I wonder if these will do as well?

I will also be doing some video editing, but nothing too serious. No gaming allowed!

New specs are going to be:
AMD 64 3500+ (with a Zalman 7700Cu cooler)
Asus A8V deluxe
2x 1Gig Corsair RAM
video: ?
2x 17" LCD
UAD-1
Tascam FW1082
etc.
