lets say i have a 10 song project i am mixing in Pro Tools, and i want the same plugins,aux routing, and inserts for each song. each song is its own session. how do i make a template of my first session so all i have to do is open the template and import the right audio files ?

Hi Harry,

Let's say you've got your song. First off save it! Then delete your audio/midi and automation info. Now do a "Save As" using a different file name. Next switch to your desktop, single click on the icon of the new file you have just created then hit the apple key and "i". In the document type drop down list box choose "Template".

It's as simple as that.

i have heard the term "stationary pad" is that part of another option in making mix templates?
