Putting together a home studio. Was hoping I could get some feedback on the equipment list. Will be recording mostly drums & strings (limited MIDI).

- Apple G5 wth 2x250gb drive (I'm hoping this eliminates any problems writing to the system drive)
- Digi 002 Rack with factory bundle - any comments on the value of this bundle would be great
- PRESonus TUBEpre preamp (for vocals)
- BehringerADA 8000 Ultragain (for guitar & drums) connecting via ADAT
- Shure DMK57 (drums/guitar), Crown CM700 (overheads), APEX 420 (Vocals)
- EST nEar05 Monitors

I'm also having to work out the details on the actual space, so I've been considering the Auralex options (although this seems to require as much attention as the equipment selection).

Opinionsor direction would be appreciated.
