One underrated Studio tool ! After 20 years of using affordable ones, I finally bought one that stays in place. Listen to the videos see what I'm talking about ! ;)

Let me know what you think ! ;)

This brings back memories of Phil from the studio insisting we get a hanger and pantyhose to make a pop filter, despite having several different "proper" pop filters. He wanted to be able to widen or narrow the filter frame, to adjust the size of the holes in the filter according to taste. Lol he won the minutiae award!

Yeah I also made some.. One I did was made to attached directly to the shockmount.. never felt off or moved.. eh eh !

I have to say that when you have customers, the pop filter isn't just for the sound but also to give a distance barrier so they don't lick the mic and get too much proximity effect.. ;)

They also help to keep you consistent from one take to the next, in terms of distance from the mic element.

Another very helpful video, Marco. Well done!
