I read a text about phase canselation in "Studio buddy" (Its a collection of small recording articles written by Michael Laskow and Alex Reed found here: http://www.studiobuddy.com )
It said that when comb filtering occures, the resulting waveform will develop "teeth" and look a bit like a comb. Is this correct? Isn't it the eq graph "applied" by the effect that will look simular to a comb?
Maybe this isn't a big deal, but I was trying to get a grip on what phase canselation is when I read this, and was confused...

You're right. It is the "Frequency Response" that will look like a comb. Not the waveform itself. The waveform depends of course on the source (instrument, voice, whatever) and gets modified by the nasty comb filter effect.
