wondering if i should upgrade my ghost's pres to burr browns. I have heard this a great mod. for this console or if i should invest in an external mic preamp's and where would i route the external pre into the ghost. possibly thru the channel insert?

I have requested an email detailing the Ghost upgrades available from audioupgrades.com...I dont believe the Ghost is on their price list.I havent received any info as yet.
As for using outboard mic pres, you would not go through any part of the Ghost but simply directly to the recorder and use the Ghost as your monitor.It defeats the purpose of a short high-grade path if you use the inserts on any console for this.
