I am new to making tracks ready to be mixed for post production. I am working w Nuendo 2 recording tracks on a project that will be mixed at another studio. I am supposed to make the tracks all start at the same time, obviously. I had this under control until the guitarists started doing tracks with very short leads or other BS when I was not around. Ughh! When they did so they started the recorder where they wanted the new part and recorded. Now I have little clips all over the place and I don't know how to fill out the tracks so the wav. files all start at zero. The guy doing the post work made it sound easy but I don't know what to do and trying to get support help on weekends when I work is impossible. Any help would be appreciated. :)

So all you really have to do, is take the output of the guitar track, bounce it to another channel and begin at the beginning of the track. As the guitar parts play, there will be recorded silence between those takes, where they don't play with continuous running time code. Then you'll have a contiguous/continuous running track that starts at 00:00:00. It won't make any difference if you take it down one analog generation if you have to, you may not have to?
