How are you connected. A diagram or a detailed description would be good. Ins to outs etc.

Well i might have solved it... i unplugged the firewire cable...then powered it on and it seems to be working...but if it happens again ill post all of that

Are you using the power adapter AND a firewire bus that is passing power? This can cause a little confusion in the interface since it will not reboot itself until both are unplugged from power.
