Reason is complete sequencing software that can use ReWire technology which allows it to directly record into Pro Tools. It is quickly becoming a standard and Digidesign even bundles a version with PTLE 6.4.4.
I have been trying to learn reason with rewire... i also have Bettery and steinberg groove agent. I was trying to get the best one with the most funcationality. I know the steinberg is VST but i use the VST to RTAS converter to use it.
