from what i here the new Tascam has some banging new converters in the dm4800 series. should i just go with the new boards converters or spend 2500 on a rosetta 200. are they they same quality. or am i just going over board with this converter situation? thanks

on the one hand i would love to have that rosetta...(for a live keyboard rig) but i wonder if you'ld get that much more out of it than the tascam... i've got a fw1884 here and while they aint lavry's it's very usable IMO... tascam uses AKM chips on their converters... the same as alot of the big boys...
