the sampler (sampletank 2) won't recognize standard PCM .wav files as it claims it should do in manual. i need to import a set of samples from a vintage clavinet for a session i'm working on but every time i try to import them i get the error message: "invalid sample type". what am i missing here? they're standard PCM WAV file, 705Kbps, 16 bit 44.1... the root name is written in the file name... it's supposed to grab them and even lay them up and down the keyboard as a new virtual instrument...

anybody else had trouble importing samples into ST2? advice?

client really want's this particular clavinet on track... help!

reply from IK multimedia tech

ok, well the kind folks over at IK multimedia have contacted me via phone and email (not bad, only took em 3 days!) but have yet to find solution. i sent them a copy of one of the samples from the clav and aparently they got it loaded--but had to change the root note in the name of it. i tried this to no avail... and tried renaming it a bunch of different ways but still no dice.

forgot 2 mention i recently installed the latest update to version 2.0.8.1... the rest of it is working great but maybe this is a bug in the new release?

again, any ST2 users out there who can point me in the right direction on this one? (incredibly versatile, good sounding soft-sampler BTW--highly recomend it other than in this instance for those of you not using it!)
